What We Learned at Keller Williams Family Reunion — And How It Helps You
We recently hosted a livestream of Keller Williams Family Reunion — the largest real estate convention in the world. With over 13,000 agents attending globally, the biggest takeaways were authenticity, AI as a tool to better serve clients, and the importance of continuous learning. Here’s how that directly benefits buyers and sellers in the Capital Region.

The Largest Real Estate Convention in the World
What’s going on everybody — Rob Taylor here, joined by my lovely wife Beth Taylor.
We just wrapped up hosting a livestream viewing of Keller Williams Family Reunion, the largest real estate convention in the world.
This year’s event was held in Atlanta, drawing approximately 13,000 real estate professionals from across the globe. With over 180,000 agents worldwide, Keller Williams’ reach is massive — and being connected to that network matters.
While we couldn’t attend in person this year (basketball season — family first), we hosted a live stream at our Market Center in Latham so local agents could still benefit from world-class training.
Key Takeaway #1: Authenticity Wins
We heard from incredible speakers including:
-
Gary Vaynerchuk
-
Jay Shetty
Two completely different personalities — one high-energy and bold, the other calm and reflective.
Yet both emphasized the same message:
Be authentically you.
In real estate, trust isn’t optional — it’s everything.
This isn’t selling sneakers online. This is helping someone buy their home, sell their home, or invest their savings.
Authenticity builds:
-
Trust
-
Credibility
-
Long-term relationships
That’s something we take very seriously.
Why Real Estate Is So Personal
I’ve always believed real estate is one of the most intimate transactions you can go through.
It involves:
-
Your finances
-
Your family
-
Your timeline
-
Your emotions
-
Your future
That’s why being real — not scripted — matters.
It’s also why we write blogs like:
-

-

-

These resources exist because informed clients make better decisions.
Key Takeaway #2: AI Is Here to Multiply Us — Not Replace Us
Another major theme was artificial intelligence.
AI in real estate is not about removing agents.
It’s about:
-
Faster data analysis
-
Better pricing strategies
-
Smarter marketing
-
Improved communication
-
Quicker response times
AI helps us serve you at a higher level.
It allows us to:
-
Analyze market shifts quickly
-
Deliver accurate comps
-
Create better exposure online
-
Personalize home searches
Technology enhances the experience — it doesn’t replace human connection.
Key Takeaway #3: We Never Stop Learning
One of the most powerful parts of Family Reunion is the culture of growth.
In this business, if you stop learning, you fall behind.
The market evolves.
Technology evolves.
We stay plugged into national-level insights so our local clients benefit.
Whether it’s:
-
Understanding what features will sell in 2026
-
Tracking first-time buyer trends in Amsterdam, NY
-
Studying seasonal shifts in the Capital Region
We are always learning so you don’t have to.
What This Means for You
If you’re buying:
You get a team that blends market knowledge, technology, and personal service.
If you’re selling:
You get pricing strategies informed by national data and local expertise.
If you’re investing:
You get insight shaped by one of the largest real estate networks in the world.
That’s the value of staying plugged in.
Final Thought
Beth took 30 pages of notes.
We had incredible conversations with local agents.
And we came away energized — not just inspired.
Because better training = better service.
And that’s what you deserve.
